Vedaa Movie Story plot
Major Abhimanyu Kanwar is court-martialed by the Army for disobeying orders to capture a terrorist in Kashmir alive. Vedaa focuses on a Dalit girl who faces abuse and torture at the hands of the upper caste. She aspires to learn boxing to protect herself and her family. Abhimanyu, whose wife Raashi was killed by a terrorist in Kashmir, takes up a position as an assistant boxing coach at a college in her city. Meanwhile, Vedaa’s brother is killed for being in love with an upper-class girl, and her sister is later burned alive while attempting to escape the city to save herself.
Seeking protection, Vedaa turns to Coach Abhimanyu, who challenges the village chief to defend her. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey to the city court, battling police and goons along the way. Upon reaching the court, Vedaa pleads for justice and is granted her rights, but Major Abhimanyu is tragically killed in the courtroom.
