Udanpaal Movie Review : Interesting And Funny About Gayathrie, Vivek Prasanna’s film

Udanpaal, directed by Karthik Sreenivasan, stars Gayathrie, Vivek Prasanna, Dheena, and Abarnathi. Our evaluation states that the movie has strong performances.

Udanpaal Movie Review:

You don’t frequently get to enjoy a quirky, avant-garde family drama. You can’t help but buy it, especially since the movie also succeeds in functioning as a dark comedy.

The film Udan Paal, which is being directed by Karthik Sreenivasan, is an example of good writing that demonstrates how to draw viewers in with a limited cast and their macabre antics. The story of the movie centres on a financially precarious brother and sister who decide to take advantage of their father’s passing to find stability in their lives.

The family’s eldest brother, Parama (Linga), extends an invitation to her sister Kanmani (Gayathrie Shankar) and brother-in-law Murali (Vivek Prasanna) on the occasion of their mother’s death anniversary.

However, it isn’t until a few minutes have passed that we realise their reunion was arranged in order to pressure their ailing father Vinayagam (Charle) into selling the home they currently reside in. Vinayagam is hesitant about this, but his children discover that the house has problems and that selling it won’t be easy for them to make money on.

But fate has other ideas for them. One of the complexes that Vinayagam frequents every day suddenly collapsed. The government declares that the deceased’s family will receive Rs. 20 lakh in compensation.

Udanpaal Movie Story:

Instead of stressing over their father’s situation, Lingaa and his sister Mani start arguing on how to split the compensation fairly. When their father, whom they believe to be dead, returns home alive and well, trouble starts.

Any additional details would compromise the viewing experience because there are a number of surprises in store.

Additionally, we believe that the actors have set boundaries for themselves regarding how each of them should respond to a circumstance without exaggerating in any way. Linga, Vivek Prasanna, and Gayathrie Shankar all gave outstanding performances that were true to their roles. Making people laugh under gloomy circumstances is undoubtedly difficult, but they have tried their best. In the movie, Abarnathi portrays Lingaa’s wife, and her role is one to keep an eye on. In her second movie, she has already proven to be very mature.

We only meet KPY Dheena in the second half, and it’s amusing to see him join in on the game. While the music of Shakthi Balaji
